Regulations concerning graduate students and graduate programs are determined by the Graduate Faculty, in accordance with the University of Missouri's Collected Rules and Regulations (300.010 E.4). The Graduate Faculty Senate is the elected representative body of the university's Graduate Faculty and meets monthly during the academic year to approve courses and graduate programs, set policies related to graduate students and their education, approve graduate and doctoral faculty, recommend winners of Graduate School awards, and ensure that the university lives up to its high expectations for graduate education.
